Why did I decide to get into videography?

So if you didn't get a chance to read my post about who I am….. Then go and check it out cause it will let you know how it got started. But with this post I want to talk about the things that I enjoy about videography and that have made me fall in love with it.

My first time actually filming anything (that I remember) was my freshman year of college in my intro to production class. It was split between audio and video production. It wasn't until I actually began to get more involved with an immersive learning program at school that I began to film more and more content. Once I learned the basic skills I began to learn as much as I could so that I could get the best stuff possible.

From there I began to learn how to tell a story visually, I found it to be fascinating to let someone tell it from their point of view so that others can see what they did. I have always been in love with movies, and they have always been an escape for me to just let me mind run with the story line. That is always something that I strive for with the content that I create, is to make the story line enjoyable like a movie.

But honestly the big thing for me when it comes to videography is just the ability to shoot whatever you want and capture a moment that you can keep and hold onto forever.
